Sentence: 25 to Life; Assault w/ a deadly weapon, burglary and other criminal behavior that was a result of my stupidity and ignorance.

I've been incarcerated since I was 18 years old and have grown and matured expotentially since then, so please keep reading, it gets better.

First, here's what I'm looking for. This way, you'll know if you should continue. I'm looking for human beings that are interested in intelligent and intriguing conversation (correspondence).

I would prefer to establish relationships with African-American, or bi-racial females, as my experience with them has been limited (write to find out why).

I'm not looking for a romantic relationship, but I'm not closed to one (with women only).

I would describe my personality as type-A, with a very philosophical perspective. I'm loyal, intuitive and can be very forward at times. I strive for objectivity and fair-mindedness, but I have core beliefs. I am overly competitive, shallow and introverted, but it's only to mask my insecurities, and fears; I'm a work in progress. Still, I love life, even though prison can be very depressing.

I have a strong desire to achieve goals and to understand and learn things. I just earned my AAS in Business Management from Palo Verde College, in prison. In the Fall I will begin working on my Drug & Alcohol Counseling Certification. I am also a poet (see poetry). Soon I will finish a book.

In conclusion, even though I have a bit of time left, I am very positive and strive to be prepared for my release.
