Hey, What's Up?  I'm Travis.  I'm currently spending eight years as a guest of the State of Texas.  I'll be done in 2011.  If you'd like to know how I got here, feel free to ask.  No sob stories, I promise!

     I decided to use this time as a learning experience.  Some of the lessons aren't easy, but they're worth it.  I've learned to treasure the little things in life, because they're so easy to lose.  I'm learning to look at the world with respect, patience and wonder.  And, I've learned that the most important part of life is the people who share it with you.

     Some of my favorite things, in no particular order are:  Music ( Rock, Blues and Country), movies, fitness, pizza (which makes fitness a bit more difficult), computers, good books, women ( I miss you, Ladies!!), motorcycles, tattoos and the WWE.  ( Did I just admit that? )  I have opinions about most things, but I'd rather discuss than argue.  I'm easygoing, compassionate, serious when I need to be and I have a good sense of humor.

     The hardest part of prison life is loneliness - and yes, it really is possible to be alone in a crowd.  I'm hoping to find a friend or two, to keep me company during the time I have remaining.  No subject is off-limits and I'll answer every letter I receive.  We can talk about hopes, fears and dreams - or just trivial stuff, like politics.  Up to you.
