MAIL CALL
Written by: Bobby Owen Darkness and Loneliness fills my cell, With pain and fear to great to yell. I wait for the C.O. to deliver to me, As I wipe tears that no one else will see. I pray so sincere with my head raised above, Please God soon send a letter of Love. I long to gaze upon pages so dear, With riches to bring my loved ones near. Word of diamonds on pages of gold, A message from Heaven as my story is told. I love you, I miss you, pray you'll be free, A treasured filled envelope just for me. Please bring memories of joy I once knew, Family, friends and things I would do. The darkness and pain of my cell will prevail As my name again was not called for "MAIL"
HERE AN GONE
Written by: Bobby Owen Memories are here, But now are gone. Love was here, And is now gone. My family use to be around here, Now is gone. Happiness use to be here, In my heart it's gone. Nightmares now are here, It'll be awhile before they're gone. Hate fills me in here, I don't know when it'll be gone. Loneliness is all around here, that will never be gone. Sadness is here, And ain't gone. These are the feelings in here They're never going to be gone As long as your here But they'll leave when your gone. These walls here Don't put your name on them once your Gone!
