I am neither a seasoned writer, nor am I a poet skilled in verse but hopefully, after our chance meeting, my sole purpose is to express to you in writing the depth of who I am, where I am, and why I am. 

     I'm a 39 year old, incarcerated, black man who understands that it is a stroke of good fortune to find someone worth those arousing sensations that spring from newly formed associations and the limitless possibilities they may bring.

      I don't want to make any false illusions about myself; I am a man of compassion, understanding and love and something as simple as loyalty in a woman is very sexy to me.  I hope that I am not boring you or it isn't difficult for you to identify with me, I'm just trying to give you a glimpse of the man behind the pen and depicted on the lines of these pages.

      Before closing, I want to say that we all have our encounters with life's failures and disappointment, some worse than others, perhaps those scars are so deeply imbedded that not even time will heal them.  Yet, we cannot exist without love and happiness.  In the interest of fairness, I hope that you might consider this personal request, to search the depths of your heart without bias and allow room for a new friend.
